Dave: This is for all my military friends, we’ve all been there, marking off our calendars, waiting for the tour to get over or the cruise to end and get back home. Frank and I both wrote the words for this, he is an ex sub sailor and of course I’m a squid. I always liked the phrase “and a wake up” so here it is.
Frank: When Dave told me about the idea for this I knew we had to do it. Memories of crossing off the days on my patrol calendar with the last day labeled “WU” for wakeup.
