about

Dave: When Frank first introduced the words to me with the title “Montauk Days and Montauk Nights, I couldn’t come up with anything musically. It was put on the back burner for quite some time. I do not like to admit defeat. Then Frank came up with something new and I played two chords that I liked and it took off from there. And now “Two Hearts” beat as one again!
Frank: This song was originally titled “Montauk Days, Montauk Nights” which I had written years ago but did not have music. After showing the original to Dave and seeing how he couldn’t come up with anything, I knew I needed to rewrite it. After a major overhaul of the lyrics Dave was immediately able to come up with a tune. Music Man, you da man!!!

lyrics

Two Hearts

Lonely days turned into years
Would I ever be with you my dear
How to make it through this life
Only memories could survive
Alone to live our separate ways
Sleepless eyes have always prayed
If love was meant to be
Two hearts could share a dream

Lost summer days, lost summer nights
Feeling so good, feeling so right
Back together, here to stay
Two hearts, a brand new day
And the butterfly has found her way……..found her way

Fate allowed a second chance
Heaven sings and angels dance
A new horizon holds the sun
Two hearts beat as one again
Along the beach holding hands
Rolling waves kiss the sand
Distant wings, a gentle breeze
Two hearts share a dream

Lost summer days, lost summer nights
Feeling so good, feeling so right
Back together, here to stay
Two hearts, a brand new day
And the butterfly has found her way……..found her way

Do you believe in miracles
In love we can’t pretend
Long lonely miles have disappeared
Loving you for the first time, again

Lost summer days, lost summer nights
Feeling so good, feeling so right
Back together, here to stay
Two hearts, a brand new day
And the butterfly has found her way……..found her way
